An embarrassing moment for Canada’s Environment Minister John Baird in Bali….
Environment Minister John Baird spoke against the ambitious target, but found himself virtually alone. Only Russia supported him – so he withdrew his objection, sparking a lengthy burst of applause from other countries.
Mr. Baird also failed in his attempt to gain commitments by China, India and other developing nations to reduce their fast-growing emissions.
Don’t worry Rusty, people in Ottawa are waiting with bated breath for your return so you can start crafting your witness testimony for when you take the stand at this criminal trial.

[...] I love Darren’s picture of Baird in his blogpost. I don’t doubt he had a similar look after he realized he had failed [...]
So Baird failed to get China, India and other developing into the agreement…maybe we should give Baird the Nobel Peace Prize as Gore said we needed China and India in any agreement.
It really doesn’t matter though. The latest science is pointing to this climate change to be in normal ranges and the IPCC will escape because they never said the they were 100% sure that the recent change was man made.
